The Board of Directors of ELK-Desa Resources Berhad ("ELK-DESA RESOURCES" or "the Company") wishes to announce that a direct wholly owned subsidiary company, ELK-Desa Furniture Sdn Bhd [Registration No. 201501006943 (1132275-V)] had on 08 September 2023 entered into a Share Sale Agreement with ELK Group Sdn Bhd ("ELKGSB") (Registration no. 198301010265 (105628-K)] to acquire 3,100,000 Ordinary Shares representing 15.5% of the issued and paid-up share capital of Tat Lian Holding Sdn Bhd [Registration no. 201501044242 (1169563-X)] for a total cash consideration of RM4,030,000.00 (Proposed Acquisition). Mr. Teoh Hock Chai @ Tew Hock Chai, the Executive Chairman is a director and major shareholder for both ELK-DESA RESOURCES and ELKGSB.
