Bursa Announcements

(Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations used herein shall have the same meanings as those mentioned in the Company’s previous announcements in relation to the Proposals.)

We refer to our announcements dated 11 November 2016 and 5 January 2017 in relation to the Proposals.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of ELK-Desa, Mercury Securities is pleased to announce that Bursa Securities has resolved to approve the listing and quotation of up to 51,589,369 new ordinary shares of RM1.00 each to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Rights Issue subject to the following conditions:

1. ELK-Desa and Mercury Securities must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements pertaining to the implementation of the proposal;

2. ELK-Desa and Mercury Securities to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the proposal;

3. To incorporate the comments made in the circular to shareholders provided in the attachment of the Bursa Securities' letter of approval;

4. ELK-Desa to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities' approval once the proposal is completed;

5. Additional listing fee payable together with a copy of the details of the computation of the amount of listing fees payable (where applicable); and 

6. Certified true copy of the resolution passed by the shareholders in general meeting approving the proposal (where applicable).
