(Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations used herein shall have the same meanings as those mentioned in the Company’s previous announcements in relation to the Proposals.) We refer to our announcements dated 3 February 2017 and 15 February 2017 in relation to the Proposals. On behalf of the Board of Directors of ELK-Desa, Mercury Securities wishes to announce that an application has been submitted to Bursa Securities on even date to seek for a further extension of time to 1 April 2017 to issue the Circular. Further announcement will be made upon the receipt of decision from Bursa Securities. This announcement is dated 23 February 2017.
