(Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations used herein shall have the same meanings as those mentioned in the Company’s previous announcements in relation to the Proposals.) We refer to our previous announcements in relation to the Proposals. On behalf of the Board, Mercury Securities wishes to announce that the Company will not be undertaking the Proposed Increase in the Authorised Share Capital and Proposed Amendment that are intended to facilitate the implementation of the Proposed Rights Issue in view of the abolition of the authorised capital concept pursuant to the Companies Act 2016 which came into force on 31 January 2017. The Company will be seeking the approval of its shareholders at an EGM to be convened in due course for the Proposed Rights Issue and Proposed Exemption. This Announcement is dated 14 March 2017.
