(Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as those mentioned in the Company’s Circular dated 5 June 2017 in relation to the Proposals.) We refer to our previous announcements in relation to the Proposals. Pursuant to Paragraph 6.62(1) of the Listing Requirements, the Company is to complete the implementation of the Proposed Rights Issue within six (6) months from the date the listing application is approved by Bursa Securities. On behalf of the Board, Mercury Securities wishes to announce that an application has been submitted to Bursa Securities on even date to seek for an extension of six (6) months from 17 July 2017 to 17 January 2018 to complete the implementation of the Proposed Rights Issue. Further announcement will be made upon the receipt of decision from Bursa Securities. This announcement is dated 6 June 2017. |
